Film Snap (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") applies to the Film Snap APP (hereinafter referred to as "this application") and details how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information, as well as how you can exercise your related rights. Your trust is of utmost importance to us. We fully understand the significance of personal information to you and will implement appropriate security measures in compliance with laws and regulations to ensure the security and controllability of your personal information.
This Policy applies to all products and services provided by the platform. When you access the platform, use the services provided by the platform, visit the platform's website and servers (without a separately established privacy policy), or log in to related clients, this Privacy Policy shall apply. If any products or services provided by us or our affiliates (as defined below) utilize Film Snap's products or services without a separate privacy policy, this Policy shall equally apply to such products or services. If a specific product or service provided by us or our affiliates has its own separate privacy policy, that privacy policy shall take precedence.
If you need to lodge a complaint regarding user-uploaded infringing content, you must carefully read and comply with this Privacy Policy and submit your complaint via email to our company.
Please note that this Policy does not apply to any services provided by third parties, as such services are governed by the respective third party's privacy policy. Before using Film Snap's products or services, please read and thoroughly understand this Policy, particularly the clauses marked in bold/underlined bold, and confirm that you fully comprehend and agree to its terms. 1. Definitions
1. "Personal Information": Refers to any information recorded electronically or by other means that can identify a specific natural person either independently or in combination with other information, or reflects the activities of a specific natural person1.
2. "Sensitive Personal Information": Includes ID numbers, biometric data, bank/financial accounts, property details, location tracks, transaction records, device/geolocation data, browsing/search history, publicly posted content, and information of children aged 14 or younger. Sensitive information is marked with bold underline in this Policy1.
3. "Personal Information Deletion": The act of removing personal information from operational systems to render it irretrievable or inaccessible2.
4. "Platform": Encompasses Film Snap APP, websites (e.g., filmsnap.ca), internet TV service platforms (including collaborations with broadcasters, content licensors, and smart TV manufacturers), and related clients (mobile/PC/TV apps, APKs, SDKs, APIs)3.
5. "We" ("Us"): Refers to Film Snap LLC (operator of Film Snap App/websites) and its affiliates providing internet TV services3.
6. "Platform Services": Services delivered via the internet (including future technologies), such as content distribution, information dissemination, and internet TV services across websites/clients (Apps/APKs/SDKs)4.
7. "Platform Rules": All current and future rules, user agreements, announcements, and guidelines published on platforms or help centers5.

II. Scope of Application
This Policy applies to:
1. Users who download and install this application via the Google Play Store.
2. Users who access services through the official website or authorized distribution channels of this application.

· Third-party websites, services, or applications (even if accessed through this application).
When you use our products or services, we may collect and use your personal information under the following two circumstances:
1. Essential Functions: To provide core functionalities of our products/services, you must authorize us to collect and use necessary information. If you refuse, you will be unable to use the basic features of our products/services35.
2. Additional Functions: For enhanced functionalities, you may optionally authorize us to collect and use specific data. Refusal will limit access to these features or their intended performance, but core service usage.

1. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
When you use our products or services, we may collect and use your personal information under the following circumstances:
1. Essential Functions: To provide core functionalities, you must authorize us to collect and use necessary information. Refusal will prevent normal use of our products/services.
2. Additional Functions: For enhanced features, you may optionally authorize data collection. Refusal will limit access to these features but will not affect basic service usage36.
Your Acknowledgment and Consent:
1. Our diverse products/services may require different types and scopes of personal information based on individual user choices. Specific data collection aligns with the functionalities of each product/service.
2. To improve user experience, we may introduce new features or optimizations, potentially requiring additional data or altered usage purposes. Such changes will be communicated via policy updates, pop-ups, or notices, with explicit consent obtained beforehand. For inquiries, contact Film Snap through designated channels
Account Registration:
When creating an account, you may need to provide the following information:
· Name, email address, mobile number
· Username, password (stored in encrypted form)
3. Transactions and Payments:
When completing purchases through third-party payment services (e.g., Google Pay, Stripe), we only receive transaction status information (e.g., order number, amount) and do not store sensitive data such as credit card numbers or CVV codes.
1. Basic Account Setup
To register as a member and use membership services, you must provide:
o (1) Mobile phone number
o (2) Username
o (3) Password (to complete platform account registration)
Identity Verification
If you lose access to your account, we provide three verification methods. You can reset your password via mobile verification or by contacting customer support. During this process, you may need to provide certain information for identity confirmation. For password recovery, we may require verification based on your usual login locations and devices.
To upload videos or photos, post bullet comments (danmu), leave comments, or create forum posts, in addition to account registration, you may need to provide:
1. Required Identity Information
To ensure content security, protect users and viewers from suspicious accounts, and maintain a healthy online environment, we may request users who frequently or excessively upload spam, advertisements, or prohibited content to provide:
o ID number
o Photo holding proof of identity
o Refusal may result in suspension of upload privileges.
2. Posts and Comments
Content you submit while using our services (including but not limited to comments, forum replies, bullet comments, and community posts), such as information you publish on the platform, forums, or community spaces.
The above information is necessary for uploading and publishing content on the platform. However, if you do not need to upload or post any content, providing this information is not required. Not providing it will not affect your access to core platform features.
3. Establishing Connections and Sharing Information
You can use our services to connect with others and share content. When initiating interactions, transactions, or sharing, you may choose the recipients, who can view your membership level, nickname, shared content, etc.
When using the platform for video storage, distribution, on-demand viewing, or posting comments/bullet chats, you may disclose personal (or sensitive) information about yourself or others. Please handle personal data responsibly and only share when necessary. Do not disclose others' private information without consent. Carefully consider whether to share sensitive details publicly.
If you suspect a data breach (e.g., account/password leaks) or find that your content contains others’ private information, contact customer support immediately for corrective actions.
Public Information refers to any details you actively share (e.g., comments, bullet chats, forum replies, avatars, nicknames, usernames, photos, videos).
Please note: The content and information you share while using our services may involve your sensitive personal data. If it includes others' personal information, please ensure you have obtained their authorization. Exercise caution when deciding whether to disclose or publicly share your sensitive personal information.
(3) Participation in Operational & Interactive Activities
When participating in platform campaigns or interactive activities (e.g., lotteries, quizzes, Q&A, surveys), you may need to submit relevant information. Examples include:
· Identity details (e.g., ID card information) for red envelope withdrawals, prize claims, or tax payments to authorities1.
· Mailing addresses if physical prizes require delivery2.
(4) Content Recommendation
To enhance content recommendations, optimize search results, assess product compatibility, ensure secure environments, and detect account anomalies, we collect and correlate usage data, including:
1. Device Information:
o Model, OS version, settings
o Mobile device identifiers, network hardware details
o Necessary app list data, hardware/software/environmental specifications1
o Location data (GPS, Wi-Fi access points, cell towers) if authorized2.
2. Log Information:
o Search/browsing history, watched content, playback duration
o IP addresses, network carriers, language preferences
o Access timestamps and behavioral metrics12.
Note: Isolated device/log data cannot identify individuals. However, if combined with other data to identify a person, such non-personal data will be treated as personal information during processing. Unless legally permitted or with user consent, anonymization or de-identification measures will apply.
To provide you with more convenient and tailored information display, search, and push services, we will extract your preference characteristics based on device information and service log information, and generate indirect user profiles based on feature tags to display and push relevant information or potential commercial advertisements.
We are committed to offering you the best browsing experience. If you do not wish to receive our commercial advertisements, you may unsubscribe via SMS reply instructions or other methods we provide. On the recommendation page, you can click the dropdown button of a video to close recommended content and preference categories.
Additionally, we will use the aforementioned information to further optimize the aforementioned functions.
To enhance your experience, in addition to server-client transmission technology, we may adopt new technologies to improve data transmission efficiency. For this purpose, we may use your terminal device and content access information.
(5) VIP Membership or Subscription Services
When you pay for a VIP membership, we will record your payment method and account information to facilitate after-sales services such as refunds via the original payment method, red packet withdrawals, or cancellation of automatic membership renewal. Depending on your chosen payment method, we will share your payment information, order security-related device information, and anti-money laundering legally required information with third-party payment companies through embedded Google Pay or other third-party payment tool SDKs in the app. At the same time, we will record and display order information (including membership purchases, video-on-demand, virtual coins, and props) in your account.
(6) Customer Service and Dispute Resolution
To provide you with customer service, we will record your contact details and communication/call records and content to contact you and resolve issues56. We may also document the problem-solving process and outcomes56.
To confirm your transaction status and provide VIP membership after-sales services and dispute resolution, we will collect your transaction and payment information based on your chosen payment institution and method (e.g., transaction and recharge vouchers for in-app payments on Android and iOS devices).
(7) Security Assurance
Risk Identification: We may use your personal information to prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, security risks, illegal activities, or violations of our or affiliated parties' agreements, policies, or rules, such as abnormal account activity, multi-device logins, unusual traffic, repeated refund requests, or low-priced membership card transfers, to protect your, other users', our, or affiliated parties' legitimate rights and interests56.
To enhance the security of your use of services provided by us, affiliated parties, and partners, ensure a secure operating environment, identify account anomalies, and protect your, other users', or the public's personal and property safety, we embed security SDKs developed by affiliated parties in the app to better guard against phishing websites, fraud, network vulnerabilities, computer viruses, cyberattacks, network intrusions, and other security risks, as well as to more accurately identify violations of laws, regulations, or platform rules56. These SDKs collect your device information and service logs and may use or integrate your account information, transaction details, payment data, device information, relevant network logs, and information shared by affiliated parties and partners with your authorization or as permitted by law to assess your account and transaction risks, verify identities, detect and prevent security incidents, and take necessary recording, auditing, analysis, and disposal measures in accordance with the law.
(8) Technical Connection Support
When you use mini-programs within the platform, we may obtain necessary information (such as device information and operation logs) from mini-program developers and technical service providers (e.g., Google Play mini-program platform operators) to provide technical connection support14. When accessing mini-program services through the platform, your information will be subject to the privacy policies of the respective mini-program developers and technical service providers. We recommend reviewing these policies before accepting the services.
(9) Miscellaneous
1. Legality of Personal Information Provision
If the information you provide includes personal data of other users, you must ensure you have obtained lawful authorization47. For children’s personal information, consent from their legal guardians is required. Guardians may contact us via the methods outlined in Chapter 9 of this policy to correct or delete such information.
2. Use of Personal Information Beyond Declared Scope
If your information is used for purposes not stated in this policy or obtained from third parties, we will seek your explicit consent in advance. For indirectly acquired information, we will require third parties to lawfully obtain your authorization and confirm the legitimacy of the data source. Sensitive information requires explicit confirmation of your consent from the third party.
3. Exceptions Where Authorization Is Not Required
Under the following circumstances, we may process your personal information without prior authorization (including but not limited to):
o Matters involving national security, public safety, or significant public interests;
o Criminal investigations or judicial proceedings;
o Protecting your or others’ life, property, or safety where obtaining consent is impractical;
o Publicly available information or data obtained through lawful public channels.
If technical measures (e.g., de-identification) are applied to render data non-identifiable, we will comply with legal requirements.
Data Handling After Service Termination
If we cease operations of a product/service, we will promptly stop collecting your personal information, notify you via announcement, and delete or anonymize the relevant data.
To optimize website functionality and content recommendations, we store Cookies on your device. You may manage Cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect normal website usage.
We may employ web beacons, pixel tags, and other tracking technologies to monitor email open rates. ETag technology enhances service efficiency, and disabling it may impact user experience.
We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except in the following cases:
1. Explicit authorization (e.g., when engaging third-party service providers);
2. Legal compliance (e.g., judicial or administrative requests);
3. Affiliate sharing (e.g., account interoperability between related services);
4. Authorized partners (e.g., advertising analytics, technical service providers);
5. Dispute resolution (e.g., intellectual property complaints).
Includes statutory circumstances such as national security, public safety, judicial enforcement, or publicly available information.
Personal information is stored on Google Cloud servers in the United States by default, unless otherwise required by law or authorized by you14.
Information is retained only for the duration necessary to fulfill its purpose and will be deleted or anonymized thereafter.
Upon service termination, your information will be deleted or anonymized, with relevant parties notified.
SSL encryption, access controls, and other technologies are employed to ensure data security.
Employees sign confidentiality agreements and undergo regular security training.
Exercise caution when sharing sensitive data (e.g., profile photos, images containing personal details) and use strong passwords.
In case of a data breach, you and regulatory authorities will be notified as required by law.
Strict access controls and emergency protocols are implemented for children’s data。
VI. Protection of Minors
Children under 14 years of age require guardian consent to use our services. Guardians may manage children's information via the contact methods specified in Chapter IX.
VII. Personal Information Management
You have the following rights to manage your information:
1. Access: View basic information through "Account Management";
2. Correction/Supplementation: Modify inaccurate or incomplete details;
3. Deletion: Request deletion if information violates laws, agreements, or upon service termination;
4. Withdrawal of Consent: Adjust privacy settings or contact customer support;
5. Account Deactivation: Perform via APP or web portal; uploaded content must be manually deleted;
6. Objection to Automated Decisions: Request explanations for algorithmic decisions;
7. Unsubscribe from Notifications: Opt out via SMS or customer support.
VIII. Policy Updates
Policy revisions will be announced via notice. Significant changes (e.g., processing purposes, third-party sharing) will be prominently highlighted.
